Contending For Kingdom Relevance Part Two Koinonia with Apostle Joshua Selman Nimmak [15th June, 2018]
Acts 13:36 (KJV) For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: It is not enough to serve God alone. You must serve Him within the context of your generation. It is possible for a man to serve God and not be relevant within his generation. The second key to Kingdom relevance is: you must be transformed. To be transformed means to have a superior belief system.
Romans 12:1 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Your belief system must be higher than your background, failures and current limitation if you must contend for Kingdom relevance. In as much as you have a primary belief system, you must be flexible enough to navigate and understand other social and cultural approaches to the Gospel without making compromise.
Romans 12:2 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Your belief system must be superior, because it will reflect in the results you produce. You can never truly rise above your mindset.
Create a system that allows you to be open to divers culture and traditions so that you can be relevant and influential. You must be Kingdom centered in your approach but global in your perspective. You must possess a superior mindset that allows you to be flexible enough to accommodate the limitations of others.
Consistent study of God’s Word creates a healthy mindset that helps you erase unhealthy belief systems. Be inspired, be challenged, but never be intimidated!
The third key for Kingdom Relevance is: you must be extremely valuable. Representatives in God’s Kingdom are men of extreme value. If all you have is what money can buy, you are cheap. Your generation is too scarce of value to ignore you when you’re valuable.
To be valuable means not being easily replaceable, in essence, being needed and useful. Declare: I receive grace to be diligent! Value can remedy for your limitations. The highest manifestation of true riches on earth is the Anointing.
The fourth key to Kingdom Relevance is: Mastering Relationships. Relationships are advantageous connections. Everything in the Kingdom reproduces on the basis of true relationships. You must master relationships.
Four Kinds of True Riches:
1. Light: light is capital.
2. Understanding: comprehension of the systems of the Kingdom.
3. Ability to hear the voice of God correctly.
4. The Anointing.
How to Maintain Relationships:
1. Avoid competitive jealousy.
2. Avoid gossip, backbiting and ill speaking.
3. Avoid offence.
4. Practice forgiveness.
5. Be tolerant.
6. Be a contributor to the growth of the relationship.
7. Practice genuine love.
To rise through influence. You must have a track record of genuine love for people.
The fifth key to Kingdom relevance is: You must be unusually anointed.
“Jesus You love me too much oh… too much oh, too much oh excess love oh…”
“Hallelujah, Glory to the Lamb, Glory to the Father, You are seated on the throne…”
“Take over, Jehovah, I have come to the end of myself… Hallelujah, Hallelujah, I have come to the end of myself…”
